                  <title>09/11/2010 - Campout</title> 
                  <description>Join us as we travel East to Athens to backpack on the Wildcat Hollow Hiking Trail. We'll be leaving early Saturday morning and returning Sunday afternoon.The trail is located in the Wayne National Forest and offers two loops. Older experienced Scouts will hike the bigger loop while younger Scouts can do the shorter trail.Please RSVP using this event calendar before our troop meeting preceding the event.Individual Equipment Needed:

    
    Backpack
    
    
    Sleeping Bag
    
    
    Sleeping Pad
    
    
    Flashlight
    
    
    Change of closthes. For the whitewater trip wear and bring clothing that will dry easily
    
    
    Water Bottle or Platypus (2 Quarts)
    
    
    Rain Gear
    
    
    Utensils (knife, fork, spoon, cup, plate)
    
    
    Towel
    
    
    Personal care items (toothbrush, toothpaste, deoderant, etc)
    
    
    Matches
    
    
    Compass
    
    
    Hat
    
    
    Hiking Boots (waterproof)
    
    
    Proper clothing (depends on the weather (use layers and bring an extra set in case you get wet)
    
    
    Dry clothes for sleeping
    
    
    Extra Sock (wool or synthetic are best)
    
    
    Personal First Aid Items
    
    
    Plastic Bags
    
    
    Snacks if so desired (but not too many)
